The course 4004-741, Fundamentals Web-Based Multimedia, provides students with the hardware and software skills for building web-based multimedia, basic HTML and web page design, and the incorporation of rich media along with basic design principles. The course 4004-745, Foundations of Human-Computer Interaction, presents and explores concepts and theories of human communication and information processing as they relate to interactive multimedia and interactive computing.
Second QuarterThe course 4004-730, Interactive Media Implementation, teaches programming as it applies to extending the capabilities of multimedia environments to make applications that are more flexible and productive for users and more efficient to produce. The course 4004-737, Website Design & Technology, moves into large-scale site development, and an introduction to advanced web technologies.
Third QuarterIn the third quarter, the student may select two (2) electives from other graduate website or multimedia courses (4004-xxx) to complete the program. Other course options include additional human-computer interaction or database concepts courses.
Course SchedulingNearly all of our on-campus classes are offered one night per week starting at 6:00 PM. The more popular courses are also offered during daytime hours. Occasionally Saturday classes may also be available. Consult the here, for the proposed annual course schedule.
