About Sarah J.
I am an Visiting Lecture in the Center of Computing Outreach Research and Education (C-CORE) and the Information Sciences and Technologies Department at the Rochester Institute of Technology. My work is focused on teaching computing using an interdisciplinary approach to non-computing majors (currently collaborating with COLA) and introductory computer programming courses. My research focuses on learning design and development strategies for incorporating process oriented guided inquiry based (such as POGIL) instructional approaches, the use of open education resources (OER), and development of web enhanced learning materials to support student learning in introductory or non-major computing courses.
