Jim brings over 33 years of experience in a wide variety of programming, database, and Internet development in the classroom. Watching students develop skills and apply their knowledge to practical situations, brings him a sense of accomplishment. His interests encompass database and database programming to solve business solutions. His expertise in software development is apparent through his teachings in a variety of languages; Visual Basic.net, COBAL, Pascal, C, C++, C#, and Java. During the summer of 2012 his experience of teaching web development in Brazil afforded him the opportunity to explore another culture, and apply different methods of teaching by observing how students in other countries learn.
